Collaboration: Yes2Connect Tools for the Whole Community (Panel 1 of carousel) Close

Everyone wants to live and work where people support one another and help each other achieve their dreams.

  • Yes2Connect is a web-app with collaboration tools to strengthen our community.
  • Yes2Connect makes it easier for us to buy from local businesses, support our budding entrepreneurs, celebrate our volunteers and local heroes, and connect families, businesses, officials and organizations who make up our community.
  • Yes2Connect also gives everyone tools to prepare and recover from natural disasters.
  • Yes2Connect is NOT a social media platform, but instead connects us with tools to support one another in good times and bad.

How does Yes2Connect work?

Families, employees and businesses share an app. Each person or business receives a separate, private account at no cost, where they can create a disaster plan for their family or business. All information is encrypted.

In good times, businesses can offer e-giftcards, loyalty programs, deals and news and vip programs. Families and employees use the app to access these deals and learn about local businesses and their owners.

In bad times, families, employees and businesses can use tools to enter information about their status and needs that is shared with community and local association leaders. These officials and leaders share an administrative app and a leadership forum so everyone is on the same page Local association leaders can share information with their members.

People can share their information with their contacts and with members of groups they have connected to.

Employees and businesses can connect with each other as well, sharing the business disaster plan and documents.

With Yes2Connect, everyone has the tools to organize themselves and begin recovery on day 1.

Creating a strong community means that in good times people pursue their dreams and build resiliency for future bad times.

Supporting our locally grown businesses is essential to a strong community. Purchases from these businesses create 48 times more jobs and economic stimulus than buying from out of area online businesses and 3 times more than buying from chain stores.

Yes2Connect's interconnected app and website make it easy for local businesses to offer customer loyalty rewards and egifts cards to help level the playing field with larger chain stores. Local businesses can also easily offer products or services online for pickup, shipment or delivery.

Local businesses can offer deals and share news on the app and in a weekly newsletter at no cost to them.

Economic prosperity is only one part of a strong community. It's our people to people connections that make or community a place to call home.

Yes2Connect makes it easy to recognize and thank people who make a difference in our community, whether it's small gestures, volunteers, or lifetime commitments.

And let's not forget building personal resiliency for future bad times. Yes2Connect has disaster preparation tasks that we can do today to make it easier to recover from a disaster.

Disaster recovery requires good preparation before and community collaboration after. Yes2Connect has the tools to do both.

Create a family disaster plan and link your plan to other family members with Yes2Connect accounts.

Businesses can also create a private business disaster plan with portions shared with their employees. Yes2Connect has tools in the event there is no internet so you can access your information and send messages when the internet is available.

It has a tool so that homeowners or business owners who are not in the area can provide instructions and get or give information during and after a disaster.

People can share immediate concerns, such as elderly or disabled at home, immediate needs, or long-term needs with officials, organizations they belong to, and their contacts list.

There is an administrative app where CERT emergency volunteers, organization leaders, and officials can access information submitted by the community.

People with access to the Administrative access participate in a leadership forum to share information.

Anyone in the leadership team can create forums on topics important in that disaster.

The community app, including the forums, is available in English and Spanish and can be offered in other languages as well. After the disaster, the community can recognize hometown heroes who went above and beyond to assist in the recovery.

1500 resources, 50 tools, 4 apps, self-supporting

Yes2Connect is an integrated, whole community toolkit to provide information and encourage collaboration in good times and bad. It has 1500 local, state, federal, and no or low-cost resources to start and grow businesses, plus 250 resources for the community in bad times.

When available, these resources are in multiple languages.

Yes2Connect has more than 50 tools to support businesses, employees, residents, organizations, visitors, and officials. We can add or delete tools to meet your community's needs.

The Tools are integrated and displayed in 4 apps: Business/Community Shared App, Administrative App, Visitor App, and Yes2Connect4Kids.

The apps are accessible and synced on both computers and mobile devices.

Yes2Connect is a low-cost system designed to be self-supporting. To accomplish this, there are 4 fee-based add-ons: Private Business Disaster Plan, HR Center, Yes2Connect4Kids, and ProtectmyPics.

50% of these fees are credited to the community's annual license, with the goal of paying for the entire license fee for the community.

Local Control, Business License List, Customized for your Community

Local Control:

Yes2Connect is based on community control and community needs. It is a community-based public/private project. Information is not mined or sold to others. Paid advertising and " People who continually violate this agreement can be banned.

Convert Business List to Growth Machine:

Yes2Connect is set up using lists and organizations. A business license list is a perfect place to start.

  • Businesses are provided a community code. They are asked to add information about their business so that their business can be promoted to the community. They can offer loyalty rewards, e-giftcards, VIP discounts, online minimart, news and ads, which customers can access by using the same community code to create their own Yes2Connect account.
  • Local organizations are also invited to participate. Their leaders are part of the community's leadership team. Each organization has its own connection code which they can give their members. Their members can create a Yes2Connect account with that code or, if they already have an account, they can connect to the organization in Groups in the Community App.
  • People who have set up an account can connect to family members and share their family disaster plan.
  • Employers can connect with their employees by adding them to their contacts. An email will be sent to them with the employer's business code.

With these codes, the community, businesses, employees, organizations and families can connect to support each other in good times and bad.

People can use their account on both a computer and mobile device, with their information synced.

Customized for your community:

Images, resources, tools, and information on the app are customized for your community. The Administrative App's Tools section contains pages that makes it easy to manage this customization.

Officials can use the Administrative App to turn on and off features. If your community has special needs or concerns, we can add features to meet those needs. As an example, we have a tool to help solve parking, noise and trash issues caused by short-term renters, involving easy collaboration between the property owners, neighbors, and officials.

Yes2Connect can also add additional languages. Please contact us for information.
